EXCELLENT customer service. Great follow through and very good phone voice. It's nice to speak to real people that sound happy instead of robots! So helpful, quick response time, and they were very professional. I felt very comfortable that I was working with a solid company and expectations for stay were well laid out.
Absolutely perfect for our mini spring break trip to Lutsen. We skied 3 days, LOVED the condo and decor, and enjoyed the pool, sauna and hot tub. Dennis, the site manager and Cascade even went above and beyond to help us figure out a tv remote! Everything was great. Loved the blue walls, simple decor and all the framed photos. I appreciate that it wasn't over the top Up North theme :-)

Overall rental process was very easy. I like not having to "check in" upon arrival.
Overall the property was very nice for our family. We have stayed in a number of the units at Chateau. Most of the units have bulking furniture - a suggestion would be to buy less bulking furniture such as couch and chairs for living room or the log bed frames for the bedroom. The bulky items take up extra space. Having a bed with no bed frame and attaching a thin head board to the wall would provide more room and make the room look and feel bigger. Same thing in the living room. Decorate with more sleek furniture, floor lamp instead of a side table and table lamp, could add a small shelf next to coach for a drink or book. The TV was on a shelf could be mounted to the wall instead. DVD/VCR was also on a shelf with a little creativity it could be placed on top of fireplace. Under TV a bar/counter could be added with some simple wood stools providing more seating and a nice view of the lake. Current stools at the counter top were not very comfortable and the TV is to high on the wall-neck ache! Just some thoughts!!

Members of your team were great! Friendly, kind and helpful.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Unit 30 was quiet with a great view of the lake. The furniture was comfy as were the beds. It was nice to have the twin beds for our adult children. Pool/hot tub area was neat and clean. Pool a little on the cool side but refreshing when getting out of hot tub. Would be nice to have pool area open till 11pm on Fri and Sat. Lobby is very inviting with sofas, chairs and tables...nice large space to watch TV, read or just relax and enjoy the beautiful view! Dennis and Maggie were very friendly and helpful at the front desk.

Our interaction with your team, from the first contact to the last, was super good.
The location of the Chateau was perfect for the day trips we had planned. The view from our condo's deck, right on the shore, was terrific and the sounds of the surf made for a great "go to sleep" lullaby. The people were friendly and helpful with the few questions we had. All in all, we will most likely come back again.

Very easy to make reservations. Staff at Chateau very friendly and helpful
We very much enjoyed and liked our condo #30 - perfect space for my husband and I plus son/dtr-in-law and two little grandchildren. Condo was updated and comfortable with of course the deck looking out to Lake Superior - we loved sitting out there just relaxing. I have stayed at Chateaux Levieux before and love the location on the North Shore - my favorite area of the Nirth Shore. I like that, at Chateau, you can get down easily to the lake, walk on the ledge rock and even have a campfire in the rock if you want. The only disappointing thing this time was that the heater was broken in the pool and hot tub ( they were waiting for a part to come). So the pool was cold and the hot tub a little warmer- we used them anyway :). I will definitely rent a place at Chateau again!

The property was smaller than we thought but comfortably supported a family of 6. We really enjoyed the lodge portion where we sat outside on a great deck, played games and ate with the larger family.

We enjoyed our stay at Chateau LeVeaux and apartment 30. The location on the North Shore ensures easy access to many wonderful sight seeing highlights. The entire place was quiet, there was plenty to do in the game rooms and pool on sight. This apartment allows for pets and we had one. However, the apartment was very clean and well kept up. The host couple were friendly and helpful in every way we had need.

1st of all, the view out the patio door was fantastic. We cooked most of our meals and found the kitchen well stocked with silverware, pots and pans, and Utinsels. The unit was very comfortable for 3 adults. The only drawback to the unit was a lack of a dining space to eat meals. The bar stools at the counter were not the most comfortable. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Chateau Leveaux to others.

The home was nicely furnished and location to Lutsen ski resort was very good. we especially appreciated how sound proof the unit was. It was New Years weekend, a lot of guests but we were not disturbed by noise at any time. The biggest disappointment was the satellite TV did not work and there were a lot of bowl games on!

Great location. Can't get much closer to the water. We had a quick visit (2 nights), but would have gladly stayed longer. It was very quiet on the property even though it was a full house. First night we had the fire pit all to ourselves. We used the pool and hot tub, which were both very clean and nice. Nothing fancy, but it felt good after a day of hiking. Our unit was very clean. Living room furniture was not very comfortable, but it was fine. Beds were great. Our boys really liked having the loft area to themselves at night. One of our boys took the area with the twin beds and the other took the queen room. They really enjoyed having their own beds and space. The master bedroom has a great view of the lake and we enjoyed listening to the waves at night as they lulled us to sleep. We appreciated the plentiful towels in the main level bath. Deck has four comfortable chairs and we spent a fair amount of time out there reading, napping and taking in the view.

The home was fine - it was about the right size for our family. The arrangement was good. The location was about 30 miles north of where we ended up spending most of our time. The home was not air conditioned so we spent a couple of pretty warm days there. The pool was fine. Nice to have free washer/dryer access. The grills tended to smoke in our direction. The flies were pretty hungry. I liked having a full kitchen available.

Unit was exactly as shown online. LOVED: Pet-friendly!, view of the lake, balcony, fireplace, quality of the furnishings, availability of the pool/sauna/hot tub, ease of room access. It was incredibly lovely to watch the full moon rise over Lake Superior, listen to the waves, and relax. There were many amenities we didn't use but appreciated that they were there, such as the game room and videos, mini-business center, laundry, vending, and snacks. We also appreciated that the families and other couples staying there respected the quiet hours. We heard the neighboring television a little, but everyone seemed to be considerate and recognize that we all wanted to enjoy open windows and the sound of the waves. DID NOT LOVE: Microwave had pulled out of the wall and was extremely dangerous - almost fell out when I first opened the door. Wondered why housekeeping hadn't noticed it. Also, the unit shower/bath could use safety treads or a grab bar. WISHED WE HAD: Area map and list of nearby restaurants, grocery, and gas stations. There was one in the lobby but it would be nice to have a one-sheet in the unit. RESERVATIONS: Overall the reservations process was very easy once we found and decided on a unit. It would be helpful to be able to compare units and availability dates, and to have a listing of overall amenities (pool, eg) on each page. I think that some of this is online, and I eventually figured it out, but it wasn't easy. However, the person on the phone who took our last-minute reservation was very knowledgeable, efficient, and pleasant. Overall we thought this was a great place.

We had a large group and rented Condos 18 and 30. Both were very clean, nicely furnished and decorated. Thank you for having the water, coffee and tea available. We bought some of the frozen pizzas that you offered They were delicious, as well as very convenient after a day of hiking. The microwave in Condo 30 seemed loose. We mentioned it at the front deck, and they took care of it right away. One suggestion that I have would be to have more bath towels available in each unit. Both units could have up to 6 guests, but each had only two bath towels. We wanted to shower after we were in the pool and hot tub, but ran out of towels, so we used some of the pool towels, and then put them in the laundry basket in the pool area.
