We loved this location! It was perfect for our one-year-old and our dog. We loved having our own lake access, fire pit and dock. The cabin was cozy but fit our needs well. It was a lovely secluded location.

Just the right balance between privacy and access to things to do and places to eat. The house is obviously well-cared for and very clean. The WiFi worked great. The notebook which explained how to operate things in the house (like the shower!) also gave great tips. Can you believe we had never eaten at the Angry Trout in Grand Marais?

Great location, loved how secluded it was. Clean, well kept home. Loved all the information they left there with phone numbers and WiFi info and other notes. Loved all the movies, games, maps and other nice touches. Just a little unsure/hesitant about the heating source and the constant-ness of it being on. The directions were OK, however, it would have helped to have some distances put in there such as "drive 5 miles on Co Rd 4" or something like that, just to have an idea.

Great cabin!. Rustic feeling, but not a run down feeling. We so appreciated everything about it.
If looking to upgrade something, couch covering might be difficult, but worth it.
This is a gem, and we hope to come back here!

Location was perfect... Close to COP camp where our daughter works. Wedding a couple houses over was pretty noisy with the late night fireworks but we enjoyed their music!
The carpet is interesting in the cabin. Someone could trip on the bumps and extra carpet folds sticking up!

My husband and I stayed at Caribou Crossing for a long weekend just a couple of months before our first baby will be born. It was the perfect getaway spot to relax and spend time together. The house was cozy and clean. We loved having private and easy access to the lake for swimming (even though it was a little bit cold!) and just hanging out. The back deck was the perfect spot to enjoy the warm weather and the beautiful view. The cabin was very comfortable and there was a great movie, book, and game selection for the one rainy day we had. There were helpful books about the area that directed us to a beautiful hike by Oberg Lake. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and hope we can return sometime soon!
