About Sea Villa D2

Located along the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior in between the towns of Tofte and Lutsen, Minnesota, you will find the Lutsen Sea Villas. This prime location is close to the Superior Hiking Trail, Superior National golf course, and located right on the Gitchi Gami bike trail. Lutsen Mountains is just a short drive away.

Sea Villa D2 is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom townhome spread out over 3 stories. On the main level is the open living area that features a galley kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, a dining area with seating for six, and a living room with a wood stove. The main-level bathroom has a walk-in shower. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms and a bathroom. The lakeside bedroom has a king bed and faces Lake Superior with a small balcony- perfect for stepping out and enjoying your morning cup of coffee while you watch the waves roll in off Lake Superior. The hillside bedroom also has a king bed. Up another flight of stairs is a loft-like bedroom that has two full beds. Note that the ceiling in the bed area of the loft is low which makes this room ideal for kids or adults who don't mind cozy spaces. 

Enjoy the lake-facing deck during your stay! You can also enjoy the use of the home's private charcoal BBQ grill for a summertime cookout. Lake Superior is just steps away and the shared section of ledge rock shoreline is directly in front of Sea Villa D2. 

Take a stroll on the extensive walking paths that connect the woods and the shoreline area. Enjoy a campfire on the beach while letting the kids play at the small private park located at the heart of the property. Or, head over to the Sea Villa's shared pool, hot tub, and sauna. The kids will love the splash pad water feature, too!

Area Information

While this unit technically has a Tofte address, it's located right on the border of the towns of Lutsen and Tofte. The townhome is just a few miles drive to Lutsen Mountains Recreation Area. This means that Sea Villa A1 is in a great central location to many year-round activities. The Lutsen/Tofte area offers everything from miles of hiking and biking trails, in addition, the Mountain itself. Head up during the summer months, as well, to enjoy the alpine slide and take a scenic gondola ride up to Moose Mountain Summit where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Superior. Cascade State Park is just 14 miles away and features a gorgeous waterfall following a short, easy hike. Or head just a few miles in the other direction to Temperance River State Park. 

You are also just a short drive away from many restaurants (some only open in the summer months) and quaint, locally-owned shops located nearby in downtown Lutsen and Grand Marais.
