Lakeside cabin is located in a quiet, serene setting near the shores of Lake Superior close to the town of Schroeder, Minnesota. This cozy two-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin is the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. 

Lakeside is a one-story cabin featuring an open-layout kitchen and living room. Off the living space you will find two bedrooms and a bathroom, the perfect getaway for a couple or a small family looking to reconnect and unwind near the Lake Superior shoreline.

Outside, the space is shared with another nearby cabin, Treehouse. Get to know fellow lovers of the North Shore while lounging on the Adirondack chairs surrounding the firepit. Or, enjoy a stroll and explore the ledge rock shoreline area. 

Whether you're looking for a place to relax for a weekend or a basecamp for year-round outdoor adventures, Lakeside is the perfect North Shore home away from home.

Notes: The fireplace is not available for use. The top bunk of the bunk bed it not available. There is a Nest security camera pointed towards the driveway used for security and winter plowing reasons when the home is not occupied.

Area Information

Located in Schroeder, this property is just a stone's throw away from Sugar Loaf Cove. At this quaint natural area you will find a lovely hike leading to a unique cobblestone beach. Be sure to visit the nature center while you're there! The opposite direction brings you to the small village of Schroeder, home to the Schroeder Baking Company and Cross River Heritage Center. Temperance River State Park, with several waterfalls and miles of hiking trails, is also nearby. Go a little further and you will find the town of Lutsen, home to the Lutsen Mountains Ski and Recreation Area. The town of Grand Marais, filled with ma and pa gift shops and restaurants, is about 40 miles away.
