Lupinstuga features an open layout living area with a kitchen, living room with wood burning fireplace, and a spacious dining area with Lake Superior views. The home is divided over two levels with the living area, two bedrooms, and 1.5 bathrooms located on the main/upper level and an additional bedroom, bathroom, and a game room located on the lower level.

Outside of Lupinstuga you will find a spacious and private yard area, perfect for outdoor family gatherings. Enjoy a summertime BBQ on the deck off the living area or gather around the fire pit in the yard. A hot tub on the patio rounds out the outdoor space.

Lupinstuga is the ideal basecamp for your North Shore adventures. A Superior Hiking Trail trailhead is located just 0.4 miles from the home, easy walking distance to explore the SHT. The home is also located close to Betty's Pies and just a five minute drive to the city of Two Harbors.  Guests can access Lake Superior via public beaches like Kelsey Beach which is located just two miles from the home and then return home to peace and solitude in the Northwoods.

Area Information

Lupinstuga is located 4.5 miles from Two Harbors Minnesota off of scenic Highway 61 near the Silver Creek Cliff Tunnel. From here you are close to many North Shore attractions like Kelsey's Beach, the Gitchi Gami State Trail, the Superior Hiking Trail, Castle Danger, Gooseberry Falls State Park, and Split Rock Lighthouse State Park. The home is also just a 40 minute drive to Duluth.

Located inland away from Lake Superior, you get the benefit of being close to the action along the shore, without the crowds, traffic, or noise. Enjoy a relaxing getaway at Lupinstuga.
