2025 Pride Festival
The 2025 Cook County Pride, themed “Love Is Our Resistance“, is scheduled for Saturday, June 14. This years’ festival promises to be a day filled with engaging activities for all ages. The festivities kick off at 9 a.m. with free yoga in Harbor Park, providing a serene start to the day. Then, The Hub becomes a creative space for crafts and sign-making and socializing. Stick around The Hub for a Drag Story Hour featuring Cravin’ Catastrophe, and a writing workshop with author Brian Malloy. The morning activities at The Hub cap off with a OutFront MN Presentation at noon.
As the afternoon unfolds, Harbor Park comes alive with community singing, music-making, and dancing from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The Pride Rally and March commence at 5 p.m., uniting locals and visitors in a spirited demonstration of solidarity.Evening festivities include a free dinner provided by Double D’s Catering and Angry Trout Cafe, accompanied by live performances from local 2SLGBTQ+ musicians. The celebration culminates with a high-energy DJ dance party at Up Yonder, featuring Birthday Gurl and DJ Anjo.
