About Serenity Shores

Serenity Shores is luxury meets Lake Superior just a few short miles from downtown Grand Marais, Minnesota. From the moment you walk through the front door of Serenity Shores, you are greeted with large windows allowing you to take in the incredible Lake Superior views. Serenity Shores features four spacious bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms spread out over three floors. On the main level, the open layout floorplan is perfect for large groups.

The living room features a two-story stone surround fireplace and floor to ceiling windows facing the lake. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops so you can prepare meals in luxury. The large dining room table can sit up to 10 guests, with additional seating at the kitchen bar, so all members of your party can dine at the same time. Or, during the summer months, enjoy your meals on the dining table on the lake-facing deck. Downstairs, the lower level features another full kitchen, living room, and dining room area. The lower level is ideal as a game room and kids hang-out area.

The bedrooms in this home are spacious and inviting. The master bedroom, located on the main level, features a king bed and a sliding glass door leading out to the lake-facing deck. On a warm summer's night, you can leave the door and fall asleep to the sound of the waves lapping against the Lake Superior shoreline that is just feet away. The attached master bathroom has dual sinks and a jetted soaker tub. On the upper level, the two bedrooms both are spacious enough to fit in two queen beds, with room to spare, for a total of four queen beds on the upper level. The two bedrooms share a full bath with a walk-in shower. On the lower level, the fourth bedroom features a queen bed and has a full bathroom located just across the hall.

Area Information

Serenity Shores is located just a couple of miles from downtown Grand Marais. In Grand Marais, you will find a wide variety of quaint small-town ma and pa shops and restaurants. Take a stroll along the harbor or out to Artist's Point to enjoy the beautiful lake-side scenery. Up for more of a challenge? There are several state parks and miles of hiking trails just a short drive away, including Judge C. Magney State Park, home to the famous Devil's Kettle.

Heading down the shore, Cascade River State Park features an easy stroll to a beautiful waterfall, plus miles of hiking and snowshoeing trails. Lutsen Mountains Recreation Area is just 15 miles away and serves as the area's premier ski resort in the winter and an outdoor recreation area for the rest of the year. Whether it be winter or summer, there is plenty to do on the North Shore with Serenity Shores as your home base.
